…Displays EC9 Form, name on portal
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed the candidature of Olooye Adegboyega Adegoke as the authentic African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the 2027 election in Oyo State, as it has posted his Form EC9 and name on its portal.
Adegoke Taofeek Adegboyega’s Form EC9 was posted by INEC at midnight Saturday, alongside other governorship candidates of the other political parties in different states where elections will be conducted in 2027. This is in fulfilment of the Timetable set by the INEC for the 2027 General Elections.
When contacted on the development, the Media Team of Olooye Adegoke said they have no iota of doubt, even before the INEC display of Adegoke’s name, that their principal is the authentic governorship candidate of the ADC in Oyo State.
“We know our principal, Olooye Adegoke, went through the governorship primaries of the ADC, which was duly supervised by INEC and came top to emerge as the Oyo State governorship candidate of the party. This display of our Principal’s name should put to rest the claim by another aspirant that he is the candidate of the party.
“We therefore urge all other aspirants and their supporters to desist forthwith from any further misrepresentations and to respect the decision of the party and the position of INEC.
The ADC remains committed to providing credible leadership and good governance to the people of Oyo State. Olooye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke is a tested leader with the capacity, vision, and experience to deliver on the mandate of rebuilding Oyo State.
“We call on our members, supporters, and the good people of Oyo State to remain calm, united, and focused as we mobilise ahead of the elections”, the Media team said.
