NBS: Nigeria’s GDP Rate Grew By 4.4% In Q2

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday disclosed that Nigeria’s economy grew by 4.4 per cent in real terms in the second quarter (Q2) of 2026.

New Telegraph reports that the bureau announced the development in its latest GDP report for Q2 2026.

The latest growth rate is higher than the 4.23 per cent recorded in Q2 2025, indicating a 0.2 percentage-point increase year-on-year.
